Teacher guide for Frog Life Cycle Coloring Pages

A helping hand

For the grown-ups.

The included guide brings the activity together with prompts, instructions and answer notes where needed.

  • This is a common pond-frog pattern, not a rule for every frog species; some develop directly inside eggs.
  • The froglet is a metamorph: hind legs develop before front legs, and the tail is absorbed rather than falling off.
  • The four pictures simplify gradual changes. Stage lengths and diets vary, so no fixed timetable or universal tadpole diet is given.
