Teacher guide for Australian Animal Coloring Pages

A helping hand

For the grown-ups.

The included guide brings the activity together with prompts, instructions and answer notes where needed.

  • Find Australia on a map. These animals occur in different parts of the country and do not all share one habitat.
  • Kangaroos, koalas, and wombats are marsupials. Platypuses and echidnas are egg-laying mammals. The emu is a bird.
  • Koalas are not bears. Let children choose colors; use species photographs for a natural-color extension.
